Labor Day, USA

We were up early and in the car, heading off to San Marcos Premium and Tanger outlets for the BIG Labor Day sales!!! Most of the stores had an extra discount - mostly from 15-25% today only. Our hotel was only about 10 miles drive. Upon arrival, we raced into Cracker Barrel for a quick brekky.
We both ordered 'Momma's Breakfast' which is 2 eggs, 2 sausages and 3 pancakes... complete with fruit topping, whipped cream and/or maple syrup. Oh - and of course, coffee! All for less than $20... We needed fortification to survive the day!

We were there until 5pm. We 'shopped til we dropped'!!! This is me 'dropped' near the fountain at the central cafe - all I wanted to do was hop in! Temperature was still about 40 celsius when this photo was taken just before we left at 5pm. And I can't complain - David had done three extra trips to the car with his shopping & mine - during the day. Wow - what a blast! We had a fun day!

Finished off with a swim in the pool back at the hotel and walked to 'Olive Garden' restaurant for dinner.
